Cubist Hoop Earrings on Retro Model

Some styles never fade—and our Wide Cubist Hoop Earrings are proof. These bold beauties have a story that stretches all the way back to the 1970’s in New York City. Originally created for the well-known costume jewelry brand Kim Craftsmen, they were part of what was called the Lalique Collection. Inspired by the legendary French glass artisan René Lalique, the collection was known for its frosted, glass-like finish—a chic nod to Art Deco glamour and modernist design.

Fast forward a few decades, and these vintage treasures found their way into the Leetie collection. About ten years ago, we had the chance to buy out Kim Craftsmen’s leftover deadstock of these sculptural lucite hoops. Since then, we’ve been giving them new life—hand-dyeing each piece in Leetie’s signature candy-colored palette.
